https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5rirypKJZg
Objective
To provide a clear and concise procedure for team members to add a scope of work to a part, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data entry while minimizing misunderstandings and errors
Key Steps
Access the Scope of Work Tab
Navigate to the part details and click on the "Scope of Work" tab
Choose a Template
If the tab is empty, select the option to start from a template.
Choose the appropriate template that has been previously set up by your organization if one has been set up (e.g., "Polymer templates")
Click on "Load Template" to populate the scope of work
Review and Edit Groups
The template will display predefined groups (e.g., "Information About Components" and "Production Data Summary")
You can rename these groups as needed
Enter Data
Input values for each item according to your organization’s data storage requirements
Example: Enter the date (e.g., "24th of Jan, 2025") and any relevant comments
Ensure to mark required fields that must be followed during manufacturing
Input Production Data
Provide detailed production data as necessary (e.g., "Infill Percentage: 50%")
Note: You are not required to fill all fields before saving
Edit or Delete Items
Use the three dots next to each item to:
Edit the item in a sidebar
Delete the item if it is no longer needed
You can also add new items to the group or delete entire groups if necessary
Reorganize Items and Groups
Move items within a group or between groups as needed
Collapse and expand groups to focus on specific sections
Final Review
Review all entries for accuracy and completeness before saving
Save your changes
Cautionary Notes
Double-check that all ‘Required’ fields are checked accurately to avoid manufacturing errors
Be cautious when deleting items or groups; ensure that they are no longer needed
Tips for Efficiency
Familiarize yourself with the template structure before starting to save time during data entry
Use comments effectively to provide context for each entry, which can help others understand the data later
Regularly review and update templates to reflect any changes in organizational requirements or practices
