RFQs & Orders
How are adjustments made to orders once they have been placed?
Fieldnode allows for order modification requests through the platform, which are reviewed and approved collaboratively by all parties
What happens if a customer wants to change the specifications mid-order?
Customers can submit change requests, and you will have the option to approve, reject, or revise pricing and timelines accordingly
Can we cancel an order?
Order cancellations are permitted based on the agreement terms and must be initiated through the platform with mutual consent
How are changes documented?
All changes are logged with time stamps, user details, and communication threads for full transparency
Can we add notes or clarifications after an order is placed?
Yes, the platform supports threaded comments and notes attached to orders and line items
If I provide suggestions, questions, or comments on an RFQ and there are deviations — how will I be notified if the client responds?
You’ll receive a notification within the platform whenever a client responds to your comments or modifies the RFQ. This ensures you stay informed of any changes or clarifications
The "Scope of Work" section seems confusing or excessive. Could this be clarified?
The IP Owner has the responsibility to define the SoW. You will need to address any issues with the IP Owner directly
Will technical drawings still be provided?
Yes, technical drawings will be included with the RFQ whenever applicable as attached files
Am I expected to confirm each individual value listed in the "Scope of Work" section, even if drawings are available?
Yes. You are required to respond to each listed value, either confirming or proposing an alternative which can then be negotiated with the IP Owner
If a client wants to place a price request but sees that we have not completed an audit yet, what is the next step?
The client can still send a price request, but they will be informed of your pending audit status. To improve your chances of receiving orders, we recommend completing the audit process as soon as possible
