Objective
To provide a clear and concise guide on how to effectively navigate and utilize the digital inventory tools for product searches, filtering, and viewing options, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in task execution.
Key Steps
Access the Product List
Click on the "Products" tab to access the list of available products.
Utilize the Search Function
In the search bar, type the desired product name (e.g., "Product B").
Click the "Filter" button to display the search results.
Note: The search function also scans through product descriptions, IP owner IDs, and keywords.
Clear Search Filters
After reviewing the search results, click on the "Clear Filter" option to reset the search.
Perform Category Search
Select the desired category from the left-hand filter options (e.g., "Support Equipment" > "Lifting Equipment" > "Basket").
Click the "Filter" button to view all products within that category.
Sort Products
Utilize sorting options to organize products by "Last Modified" or "Created Date" as needed.
Filter products by IP owner by selecting the relevant owner from the filter options.
Filter by Material and Standards
Use the material and standard filters to narrow down product selections based on specific requirements.
Change View Options
Switch between thumbnail and table views by clicking the respective icons in the top right corner.
Customize the table view by selecting or deselecting columns (e.g., deselect the "Published" column if not needed).
Review Actions
Familiarize yourself with the available actions in both thumbnail and table views to manage products effectively.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that filters are cleared after each search to avoid confusion in subsequent searches.
Double-check that the correct categories and filters are selected to prevent inaccurate results.
Be aware of the last modified dates to ensure you're working with the most current product information.
